'Primitive' Series Table N°1/1

Studio Nucleo’s Primitive Series Table is a 2009 work by Piergiorgio Robino and Stefania Fersini. Made from cardboard, fiberglass and polyester resin, the table has a long rectangular top raised on an architectural base of staggered geometric forms. The piece is a unique example, from a limited edition of 1 + 1 artist’s proof.

About the Maker
Studio Nucleo is an Italian collective of artists and designers directed by Piergiorgio Robino and based in Turin. Active across contemporary art, design and architecture, the studio is known for experimental works that use material research and hand processes to create collectible furniture and objects. Its Primitive series, introduced in 2009, reduces furniture forms to simple geometric volumes and is made from cardboard, fiberglass and polyester resin.
