Walnut Sideboard

A beautiful sideboard by Borsani created in the first half of the 1930s and edited by Arredamenti Borsani Varedo. The piece is made of walnut, stained parchment, brass, stained glass, and copper, with rounded side doors, an open central compartment, horizontal lower drawers and a raised base. A certificate from the Osvaldo Borsani Archives can be provided to the buyer.

About the Maker:
Osvaldo Borsani (1911–1985) was an Italian architect and designer and co-founder of Tecno, established in Milan in 1953. Tecno became known for its technically advanced and modular furniture, developed through a close integration of design and engineering. Borsani’s work frequently incorporated adjustable and transformable elements, reflecting a broader postwar interest in flexibility and modern living. His designs remain central to the history of Italian modernism and are included in major museum collections.
