Pair of Floor Lamps
A pair of original Finnish floor lamps designed by Lisa Johansson-Pape and produced by Orno circa 1957. Each lamp features a slender linoleum-wrapped stem, brass fittings and base, and a dark enameled aluminum shade fitted with a white plastic diffuser. One example is impressed ORNO to the underside.

About the Maker:
Lisa Johansson-Pape (1907–1989) was one of Finland’s foremost 20th-century lighting designers. Trained in furniture design, she began designing lighting for Stockmann-Orno in 1942 and became instrumental in the development of modern Finnish lighting. Her work received a silver medal at the 1951 Milan Triennale, a gold medal in 1954 and Finland’s prestigious Pro Finlandia medal in 1957.
