A dimensional optical light sculpture, France, 1970s. Composed of layered methacrylate elements arranged in a dynamic sunburst pattern, the piece descends toward the center in a shallow bowl form, intensifying its optical focal point. When lit, the central light source creates a warm ambient glow with a soft gradient that moves outward through the black and transparent forms. Executed with excellent refinement proving the hand and artistic vision of a very skilled artist.
The sculpture may be hung on the wall or used as a large table or floor lamp. The interior light source is dimmable.
