A mesmerizing Carlo Nason table lamp for A.V. Mazzega, designed with a chromed-metal frame and circular Murano glass diffusers in orange and white. The white glass is made from Murano lattimo, a traditional, opaque, milky-white art glass originally developed in Venice in the 15th century. About the Maker: Carlo Nason is an Italian designer from one of Murano’s historic glassmaking families. Known especially for his lighting, Nason brought a modern, experimental approach to Murano glass, often using layered forms, opaline glass and repeated glass elements to create pieces that feel both technical and expressive. His long association with A.V. Mazzega helped define some of the most recognizable Italian glass lighting of the 1960s and 1970s.
