Model 4615 Drinks Trolley

Osvaldo Borsani’s Model 4615 drinks trolley was created in 1938 for Casa Garosa. Made with lacquered metal, brass and glass, the trolley has two glass tiers, slender column supports and brass wheel details. The model is documented in Giampiero Bosoni’s 2018 monograph on Borsani.

About the Maker:
Osvaldo Borsani (1911–1985) was an Italian architect and designer and co-founder of Tecno, established in Milan in 1953. Tecno became known for its technically advanced and modular furniture, developed through a close integration of design and engineering. Borsani’s work frequently incorporated adjustable and transformable elements, reflecting a broader postwar interest in flexibility and modern living. His designs remain central to the history of Italian modernism and are included in major museum collections.
