He studied architecture in Hong Kong before working internationally across interiors and furniture design. His early projects included furniture for Air India and the IBM offices in Hong Kong; from 1966 to 1968, he worked in London and contributed to the interiors of Cunard’s ocean liner Queen Elizabeth II. He later designed for Spectrum in the Netherlands before moving to Paris, where his furniture was produced by the French manufacturer Steiner.
