About the Maker:
Erik Lindström is a rug designer and founder of the Erik Lindström rug company, which was established in 2011. The company is based in Los Angeles and New York and specializes in handcrafted rugs for luxury residential and hospitality interiors. Lindström studied interiors and furniture design at the Florence Design Academy in Italy before working in high-end residential interiors, where he developed an interest in custom hand-woven rugs. His company produces customizable rugs using materials including wool, silk, cashmere, alpaca and mohair.
