Model T2 Side Tables

Osvaldo Borsani’s pair of Model T2 side tables was created circa 1960 and edited by Tecno. Each table is made with a slender brass support, conical brass base and circular blue stained glass top. The pair’s spare, precise construction reflects Tecno’s postwar language of refined engineering and modern industrial production.

About the Maker:
Osvaldo Borsani (1911–1985) was an Italian architect and designer and co-founder of Tecno, established in Milan in 1953. Tecno became known for its technically advanced and modular furniture, developed through a close integration of design and engineering. Borsani’s work frequently incorporated adjustable and transformable elements, reflecting a broader postwar interest in flexibility and modern living. His designs remain central to the history of Italian modernism and are included in major museum collections.
