Ronnie Wells (American, b. 1944) is a renowned Texas-based painter and sculptor known for his detailed wildlife compositions. His background as a former medical illustrator gave him a deep knowledge of anatomy, proportion, and form which became the foundation of a broader artistic practice that would evolve over decades. Wells has won numerous awards and exhibited his work in museums and fine art shows across the nation. Mr. Wells is also a published author. Wells’ sculptures are typically produced in limited editions and are signed, titled, numbered, and dated by the artist.
