Tecno 'Model D70' Sofa Bed

Osvaldo Borsani’s ‘Model D70’ sofa bed was created in 1954 as a fully adjustable seating system. Each side of the upholstered seat can pivot independently, allowing the sofa to shift through multiple positions. This patented mechanism, first presented at the 10th Milan Triennale, reflects Borsani’s focus on flexibility and movement in modern living. The piece is grounded by a metal frame with enamelled elements and accented with applied brass ‘T’ discs.
