About the Maker:
Gabriella Crespi (1922–2017) was one of Italy’s most distinctive 20th-century designers, known for her ability to blend modernist principles with organic forms and luxurious materials. Based in Milan, Crespi gained international recognition in the 1960s and 1970s for her sculptural furniture and lighting, often incorporating bamboo, brass, and rattan in innovative ways. Her work was favored by collectors and cultural figures alike, and she collaborated with prestigious houses including Dior. Today, her designs are highly sought after, celebrated for their timeless elegance and the unique dialogue they create between nature and design.
