About the Maker
Leon Rosen was an American designer and co-founder of Pace Collection, the New York furniture company he established with his brother Irving Rosen in 1960. Pace became known for high-end contemporary furniture made for the interior design trade, with a polished, glamorous vocabulary that often incorporated lucite, glass, chrome, stainless steel, lacquer and richly finished woods. Rosen’s work helped define a more luxurious side of American modern design — sleek, architectural and made for dramatic interiors.
